West Ham boss David Moyes has admitted that goalkeeper Joe Hart is not happy with his current position at the club.
After a series of underwhelming performances, Hart has been demoted as first choice keeper of the Hammers and he has had to play second fiddle to Adrian during the last month.
As a result, it will seriously hamper the 30-year-old’s chances of being part of Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the 2018 World Cup.
One of the problems for Hart is that Adrian has been performing impressively whenever called upon and based on his current level of performances; he does deserve to be in goal.
Speaking ahead of his sides game aganst Shrewsbury Town on Sunday, Moyes said: “Joe will play on Sunday, but Joe will play a lot of Premier League games this season as well. I’m sure he’s not overly happy with the current situation, but he’s a top professional and I’m sure he’s had an understudy to him for 90 per cent of his career and I think he’s acting in a really good manner.”
