Celtic youngster Kundai Benyu has joined English League One club Oldham Athletic on loan till the end of the season.
The 20-year-old Benyu who arrived at the Bhoys from Ipswich Town during the summer has so far made four appearances for Brendan Rodgers side this season, two of which came during the Champions League.
The youngster reportedly turned down a move to West Ham so that he could move to the Hoops.
He will now be spending the reason of the season in League One where he will have an opportunity to get more experience under his belt and try to impress the Celtic hierarchy.
Benyu has two international appearances to his name after making his debut for the Zimbabwe national team in November 2016.
Celtic published a statement on their website which read: “Everyone at Celtic wishes Kundai every success for his time with Richie Wellens’ side.”
