The Birmingham Mail reported the news from Scotland regarding a possible interest of West Bromwich Albion for Celtic’s forward Leigh Griffiths.
This is not the first time that West Brom are looking for Griffiths as they have already tried to capture him during the summer transfer session. The Premier League side has great troubles in offensive department this year as they are the worst attack in the championship.
Manager Alan Pardew would like to bring more firing-power to his squad, especially after a very poor spell by Hal Robson-Kanu and Jay Rodriguez.
Salomon Rondon needs support in the attack and Pardew believes that the 27-year-old Scottish international could be the right guy to strengthen the offensive line.
Griffiths is known for his pace and shooting ability as he has a powerful left foot. He has been one of the best players in Scottish Premiership over the last few years, and it is hard that Brendan Rodgers would be willing to give up on his star player.
