Moyes reportedly keen on Europa League-winning midfielder available on cut-price deal

Fellaini

According to the Daily Mail, West Ham are showing interest in Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, as the Belgian is looking to leave Old Trafford in search of regular playing time.

The 30-year-old has revealed he won’t be extending his contract beyond this summer, and the Red Devils could be forced to let him go for a cut-price fee this month as opposed to losing him for free.

Hammers boss David Moyes remains an admirer of Fellaini, and could bring him to the London Stadium this winter or by summer as he eyes yet another reunion.

West Ham are looking to add another midfielder to the squad at the moment, and the Belgium international fits the bill.

His obvious aerial dominance apart – a key weapon at both ends of the pitch, Fellaini’s work-rate is impressive as he’s always willing to cover plenty of ground.

The defensive contribution and versatility the Europa League winner bring to the table are also great features.

His quality will no doubt improve the Hammers’ fortunes going forward, but with the likes of Besiktas and PSG also keen, landing him could prove difficult.
