According to reports, Serie A club have inquired about the possibility of signing West Ham midfield target Etienne Capoue from Watford during the January transfer window.
Capoue has struggled to earn regular game time at the Hornets this season and as he has only made five League starts, there is a possibility that Marco Silva’s side will be willing to offload him should they receive a decent offer.
West Ham David Moyes was considering bringing Capoue to the Hammers this month and it remains to be seen whether he will go ahead and make a move.
However the East London club could now be set to face competition as Fiorentina have made an inquiry about the availability of the Frenchman.
His salary of €2 million a year could however be a problem for the Italian club. Capoue joined Watford from Tottenham in 2015 and his current contract is set to expire next summer.
