According to reports, Southampton are leading the race to sign Everton target Theo Walcott.
The 28-year-old Walcott has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal this season and has so far played just 50 minutes in the Premier League.
He will certainly need to move away from the Gunners this month if he wants to boost his chances of making the England squad for the 2018 World Cup.
Walcott is currently Arsenal’s longest-serving player and has been on the clubs books since he joined from Southampton in 2006 as a 16-year old.
A report published from the Daily Mail has claimed that the Saints are interested in signing their former youth product who is still loved from their fans.
The report also claimed that Everton are interested in the England international who could be viewed as a long-term replacement for Aaron Lennon whose contract expires at the end of this season.
