Everton have reached an agreement with Besiktas to sign highly rated striker Cenk Tosun for £27 million.
The Toffees have struggled in front of goal this season following the departure of Romalu Lukaku to Manchester United last summer and they will be hoping that Tosun can reduce their woes.
The Toffees beat off interest from Crystal Palace, Newcastle and an unnamed Chinese club in winning the race to capture the 26-year old.
The German born Turkish international Tosun came through the youth ranks at Eintracht Frankfurt before he moved to Gaziantepspor in Turkey.
He has been on the books of Besiktas since 2014 and his goals has helped the club win the Tukish Super Lig n 2016 and 2017.
He also helped the Turkish giants reach the Champions League last 16 this season as their group winners.
He is now perhaps at the peak of his career and will be looking forward to challenging himself in the English top flight.
