According to The Express, Swedish club Ostersunds are looking to sign Celtic midfielder Liam Henderson in January transfer window. Preston North End, Bari, and Hibernian are all showing interest for the 21-year-old footballer as well.
The Celtic academy product has not received a lot of opportunities to play from Brendan Rodgers, and the potential loan move to Ostersunds would be good to regain his confidence.
Ostersunds have been one of the greatest surprises in this year’s Europa League as they managed to get to the knockout stage, where Arsenal is waiting for them.
That is the main reason why they want to strengthen the squad, and the Scotland U-21 international is one of the candidates to boost the Graham Potter’s team.
Henderson has played well on both loan spells at Hibernian and Rosenborg, but he does not seem to have a place in Celtic’ first team. That’s why another loan seems to be the most realistic outcome.
