Newcastle United strikers Dwight Gayle and Joselu’s future at St James’ Park are in question after the duo did not featured in the last Magpies victory against Stoke City. Newcastle have been struggling to score goals this season due to their inefficiency in front of the goal.
The main culprits for missing the chances have been the likes of Joselu and Dwight Gyale, both of whom have scored only three goals each throughout the season.
Manager Rafa Benitez has been patient with his forwards so far by giving them ample opportunities to change their fortunes but it now looks like the Spaniard has finally lost his faith with the duo of Gyale and Joselu.
Benitez has been using either of Gyale and Joselu in each of the games in the Premier League this season but in the most recent victory against Stoke, the Spaniard dropped both his natural forward which resulted in many to suggest that the ex-Chelsea manager was looking to sell both of the aforementioned forwards.
