21 West Ham reportedly prepared to sell striking duo

According to a report published by The Daily Star, West Ham are prepared to sell Andre Ayew and Diafra Sakho this month as both players do not form part of the future plans of manager David Moyes.

Ayew has so far managed to score three goals this season from 16 Premier League appearances whil Sakho has scored twice in 14 games.

It is pretty clear that the pair cannot relied on to score consistently and West Ham are justified in considering selling them as they can used the funds generated from sales to buy new players to bolster their side.

West Ham do have other attacking options that are more effective in Javier Hernandez, Michail Antonio, Andy Carroll and Marko Arnautovic. Ayew has been linked with a move to his former club Swansea.

Meanwhile Sakho had hoped to move to French club Rennes during the summer but in the end a move did not take place.
