Promising midfielder reportedly close to signing for Celtic

Celtic vs Hearts

As Sky Sports reports, Celtic is very close to completing the deal with St Mirren for midfielder Lewis Morgan for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old footballer is one of the revelations of the season. This season, he was the main player of St. Mirren and is one of the most merited players in the first place that the team currently occupies in the Scottish Championship.

So far, the offensive midfielder has scored nine goals, providing five assists, which makes him the third-best scorer in the league.

It is known that Celtic likes to bring young talented footballers from the local championship, and sell them for a significant amount of cash afterward.

Therefore, it is logical that they want to engage Morgan who, according to the recent performances, is very promising.

If the transfer complete successfully, Morgan should remain at St Mirren on loan until the end of the season.
