Celtic star reportedly wanted by another Premier league club

Celtic vs Hearts

The Sun states that Stoke City have sent scouts to watch Moussa Dembele in Saturday’s derby against Rangers ahead of a prospective transfer in January.

Brighton have been the main candidate for bringing the French striker so far, after the manager Chris Hughton labeled him as his top target for the January transfer window.

There is no doubt that Dembele is a top striker who showed his class from the moment he arrived at Celtic Park.

Before Celtic, Dembele played for Fulham, where he was also very efficient, which earned him a move to the Scottish champions.

Due to his splendid performances in Scottish Premiership, numerous clubs from Europe, primarily from the Premier League and Championship, have shown interest in 21-year-old attacker.

However, Celtic boss Brendan Rogers considers Dembele as indispensable first team player and is reluctant to give up on him.

There are many possible suitors for the young Frenchman, so Rodgers will have a great deal of difficulty keeping him in January.
