Rangers reportedly keeping tabs on teenage striking sensation attracting Marseille

As per The Sun, Rangers are keen on bringing West Brom teenage striker Tyler Roberts to Ibrox on loan next month till the end of the season.

The 18-year-old is currently on a 6-month loan with League One side Walsall and will be back with the Hawthorns next week.

New manager Alan Pardew will most likely send Roberts out on another loan and French outfit Marseille are also keen on having the English youngster.

No other teenager in the English top four divisions have had a hand in more goals than Roberts this season following his 5 goals and 3 assists.

With his experience, the Baggies academy graduate could help provide additional attacking power for Rangers.

Graeme Murty’s men are hoping to beat Aberdeen to the runners-up spot this term, and the manager is looking to recruit quality, yet affordable signings next month.

Roberts has just 6 months left on his current West Brom deal and would be available for £300,000 at the end of the season.

It’s a fee the Light Blues can afford and the Wales Under-21 international could end up being a bargain signing if a deal is gotten across the line in the coming weeks.
