Crystal Palace boss makes a worrying admission about Zaha

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has admitted that Tottenham and Manchester City linked Wilfried Zaha could end up leaving the club next month.

Since Hodgson replaced Frank de Boer as manager of the Eagles, the club has shown tremendous improvement and has managed to move away from the drop zone.

The performances of Zaha are a key reason behind the clubs improved performances.

Zaha started his career at Palace and ended up moving to Manchester United after showing some promising potential at a young age.

However after failing to establish himself at the Red Devils, he ended up returning to Selhurst Park in 2015 and has since become a star of the team.

Hodgson has now admitted that he is aware that there is interest in the 25-year-old from rival teams and he admits that he does not know if the player will end up being sold.

He said: “That will be a massive decision for the club because I know how much everyone at Crystal Palace appreciates him and he is the last person we want to lose.

“It is no good making bold statements that this and that won’t happen because things do happen and when they do, you deal with them.”
