West Ham’s £8million offer reportedly rebuffed

According to a report published by the Daily Express, West Ham have had an opening bid of £8 million rejected by Bournemouth for midfielder Harry Arter.

Hammers manager David Moyes is said to be a fan of Arter and has made him a priority target for the January transfer window.

Moyes believes that his side’s midfield is one of their weaknesses and he is looking to bring in reinforcements in January.

Some have even suggested that Arter could be a long-term replacement for Mark Noble who now appears to be past his prime.

Arter has been in and out of the Bournemouth first team this season and has only started ten League games so far.

It remains to be seen if Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe will be willing to sell in order to bring in funds to the club or if he will wish to keep his squad intact as they are struggling this season.
