Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will reportedly make youngster Ben Woodburn available for loan during the January transfer window and a number of clubs are said to be interested in signing the youngster including Sunderland, Leeds, Huddersfield and Bundesliga side Hannover.
The 18-year old has struggled for regular first team appearances at the Reds this season and it may be in his best interests to move away in January in order to acquire more first team experience at the highest level.
Sunderland will look to make reinforcements in January as they look to avoid relegation from the Championship and a move to the Black Cats could be appealing to Woodburn especially considering that they are managed by Chris Coleman, who is the man that handed him his debut for the Wales national team this year.
The Welshman has earned comparisons to Ian Rush and became the youngest ever goal scorer in Liverpool’s history when he netted against Leeds United in the League Cup last season.
