Leeds United goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald has refused to rule out the possibility of his club winning automatic promotion to the Premier League this season.
The Whites’s form has largely been mixed this season but they are currently on a good run after winning three out of their last four matches.
Thomas Christriansen’s side are currently in seventh place on the Championship standings and it would certainly be a realistic target to try and finish in the promotion playoff spots this season.
The Yorkshire giants are 11 points adrift of second placed Cardiff City so while automatic promotion is possible, it is unlikely.
Despite this, Wiedwald has refused to give up hope.
“24 games to go so nothing is impossible, but we have to do our job and Cardiff is in front of us so they have to lose the games and we have to win the games,” he told BBC Radio Leeds.
“We have a lot of games in front of us, we did very well last week so we want to go ahead against Hull with three points.”
