As per The Daily Mail, Leeds United face stiff rivalry for the services of Liverpool forward Ben Woodburn who has been cleared to go on loan in January.
Huddersfield Town and Bundesliga side Hannover are also both keen on the 18-year-old Wales international, but more serious suitors are bound to emerge after Reds manager Jurgen Klopp sanctioned a temporary exit for the forward, as he wants him to gain regular first-team experience.
If Leeds are indeed serious about Premier League promotion, landing the highly-rated Woodburn must be top of their transfer agenda for the January window.
The teenage sensation is capable of playing as a striker, on the flanks and in attacking midfield, and having shown lots of potential in the roles for both club and country, Leeds could be in for a treat should they land him.
Despite seeing just 45 minutes of first-team action this term, Woodburn has been excellent for youth team, weighing in a goal and assist against Maribor and Sevilla respectively as he skippered the side to the top of their group in the UEFA Youth League.
On the domestic front, he has managed to score for Liverpool Under-23’s against both Chelsea and Sunderland.
The Welsh wonderkid was close to helping his country to the World Cup after bagging the winner against Austria in September.
Woodburn has already broken and set a couple of records for club and country, and given he has what it takes to help Leeds to a first Premier League campaign since 2004, they must pull out all the stops for his signature.
