Liverpool to reportedly allow frustrated star to leave in January

Sturridge

According to a report published by The Sun, Daniel Sturridge will be allowed to leave Liverpool on loan during the January transfer window.

Sturridge has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield with manager Jurgen Klopp preferring to play Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah over him.

The England international knows that he needs to start playing regularly if he wants to make the England squad for the 2018 World Cup.

The 28-year-old will not be short of offers as he is a proven scorer at the highest level and AC Milan are reportedly one of the clubs that want to recruit him in January.

In addition to this Newcastle have also been linked and West Ham could swoop should they end up losing either Diafra Sakho or Andy Carroll during the January transfer window.

Sturddige will need to join a club that can offer him regular game time. Newcastle would be a good choice.
