West Brom star James McLean has revealed his desires to play for Scottish champions Celtic FC, suggesting he was willing to do anything to fulfill his desire.
McLean joined West Brom in 2015 from Wigan and since has been an important part of the Baggies, playing a major role in making them Premier League regulars over the years.
McLean has developed into a solid wide player in his career so far and in recent weeks, the attacker has reflected upon his ambitions and also his dream destinations.
Speaking with reporters, the Scotland international expressed his affinity towards Celtic saying how much he loved the Hoops while also revealing his desire to move to the Scottish giants if any opportunity presents.
He said: “I was trying to get back down to Sunderland for training next morning and soon as I left the ground, I heard the place erupt.
“I remember saying to my wife, while I have always wanted to play for Celtic, I wanted to do it even more so that night. I’m a Premier League footballer and leaving the ground that night, I was thinking I would give anything to play for Celtic.”
