Have Rangers fans just agreed to the signing they want the club to make?

Rangers will be making few additions to the squad over next month’s transfer window in order to improve their chances of finishing in second place.

Not many targets have been linked with the manager-less side, but it seems fans are yearning for a particular signing to be made.

Light Blues faithful took to Twitter to urge the club to appoint interim boss Graeme Murty as the permanent manager following Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Hibernian.

Rangers have now won 4 games in a roll for the first time in a year, and the victories came against the only 2 sides – Aberdeen and Hibs – challenging them for the runners-up spot.

Murty has led the Ibrox outfit to 6 wins and 2 losses since taking over for the 2nd time, and the club are now 2nd place on the log – 5 points behind Celtic.

During his 1st stint in charge, the development squad head oversaw 2 wins and losses apiece before ending with an impressive 1-all draw against Celtic.

It seems almost no top manager wants to take the Rangers job, with funds to buy players and salary offer believed to be key issues.

Murty clearly deserves a shot based on how he’s done so far, and it won’t hurt to hand him a chance.
