Everton boss Allardyce speaks on the future of Sandro and Klaassen

Everton boss Sam Allardyce has indicated that he could give a second chance to Sandro Ramirez and Davy Klaassen.

Both players arrived at the club during the summer transfer window from Ajax and Malaga respectively and have so far failed to adapt to life in England.

Allardyce however believes that his club has a duty to help players from abroad settle down.

Allardyce said: “It’s difficult for a player from abroad to settle immediately. It’s more difficult when a club is struggling to come and show the talents that they showed abroad, and time is what they need sometimes.

“They come into a different country, a different culture, a different environment, different training programmes from your previous club – and if it’s the first time you’ve travelled that’s even more difficult.

“It’s our responsibility to make sure that not only are they comfortable here at the club, but that they’re comfortable where they live and their partner is comfortable with the choices that they’ve made – and when they go home, apart from being disappointed if they’re not included, that everything is okay.

“If there are problems that way then there are even more problems with the player breaking into the side and doing well.”

It may be a wise choice from Big Sam. Players may take time to adapt to life but eventually hit the ground running.

This has been seen with Oumar Niasse, he initially struggled at the Toffees but has performed decently this season.
