Are Leeds favourites to land sensation wanted by Tottenham, Everton and Liverpool?

It’s not common sight to see 14-year-olds playing first team football, so it’s no surprise that Premier League quartet Manchester United, Tottenham, Everton and Liverpool all sent scouts to watch Northern Ireland goalkeeper Conner Byrne make his debut for Glenavon in the Irish League.

However, it appears Leeds are the one pushing to sign the whizkid, as it has been confirmed that he’s on trials with the Elland Road outfit at the moment.

The Northern Ireland Under-16 international has been scouted by more than a dozen English clubs due to his heroics in goal that are beyond his tender years.

Byrne definitely has what it takes to break into Leeds first-team few years from now, and the Whites could have their own version of AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma on their hands if he’s signed.

The club recently signed Poland youth international Kamil Miazek, 21, after he impressed during his trials, and adding another promising youngster will see them preparing well for the future.

Byrne, though, is a special and rare talent considering the number of top clubs keen on his services, and landing him will be a great bargain for Leeds.
