As per Gazzetta dello Sport, Everton can land Udinese midfielder and summer target Jakub Jankto for £22million when the transfer window reopens next month.
The 21-year-old Czech Republic international was wanted by erstwhile manager Ronald Koeman months ago and upon his arrival from Southampton, while the likes of Arsenal, PSG, Juventus, and Inter Milan also kept tabs.
Jankto has maintained his fine form since the beginning of the campaign, scoring 5 goals and assisting 2 others in 16 games across all competitions.
While the aforementioned Serie A duo still has the set-pieces expert under their radar, Janko has expressed his desire to move to the Premier League, and Arsenal and Everton are expected to battle for his signature.
Manager Sam Allardyce is said to want more options in the midfield of the park, and the Czech star would be a great option to target.
Janko can bring additional depth to the department for the Toffees, and they can really push for a place up on the log during the second half of the campaign with his qualities.
