Everton and West Ham reportedly handed boost in chase for pacey attacker

Walcott

According to reports, Everton and West Ham target Theo Walcott is stalling negotiations over a new contract with Arsenal.

Walcott appears to have moved down the pecking order at the Gunners and will be frustrated with his lack of game time.

At the age of 28, he is unlikely to improve and a move may be the best decision if he wishes to start playing regularly again.

He had been linked with a move away from the Emirates during the January transfer window but it now appears that Arsene Wenger wants to keep his squad intact and will not be allowing any departures.

Walcott has now put contract negotiations on hold until the end of the season as he is frustrated due to his lack of playing time.

The England international scored against Belarusian side BATE Borisov in the Gunners final Europa League game on Thursday but has not started a Premier League game this season.
