According to reports, Real Betis are eyeing a deal for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.
Betis are lying in 11th position on the La Liga standings after 14 games and are looking to reinforce their side during the January transfer window.
The 28 year old has only scored three goals this season and made five starts in the Premier League.
Sturridge is struggling to earn regular game time at the Reds this season as he lies below Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in Jurgen Klopp’s pecking order.
He will likely be open to a new club during the January transfer window in order to boost his chacnes of making the England squad for the 2018 World Cup.
Sturridge is an experienced and proven goal scorer at the highest level and could certainly contribute a lot to the Betis side. It remains to be seen whether Jurgen Klopp will be willing to sanction a deal.
