Everton manager refuses to rule out move for prolific attacker

New Everton manager, Sam Allardyce has refused to rule out a move for Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the January transfer window, according to FourFourTwo.

Aubameyang has been linked with a move away from Dortmund in recent seasons and this rumor has been provided extra fuel by BVB’s inexplicable slum in form which saw them drop from the top of the table to seventh in matter of weeks.

Many top teams like Real Madrid and Chelsea have been touted as most likely destination for the youngster but in recent weeks big spenders Everton have also seen their name get associated with the player.

Considering the stature of Aubameyang, many had been surprised by this link and some reporters decided to ask new manager Sam Allardyce over the authenticity of these rumors.

While Allardyce didn’t admit to the interest, Big Sam refused to deny them as well and this has left big room for speculation. Such a coy response means that it might be very likely that Aubameyang might be on his way to Goodison Park.
