Leeds boss Christiansen makes admission about January transfer activity

Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen has revealed that his club will not look to strengthen during the January transfer window and this is likely to generate mixed responses from fans of the club.

The Whites had been looking to challenge for promotion this season after finishing the Championship in seventh position and they started the season strongly.

However after a few weeks during which Leeds United were disappointing, they have slipped out of the top six.

Despite this, all is not lost and the points difference between the Whites and sixth placed Derby County currently is only five points.

“Well I have always expressed that I am happy with the team and the squad that I have,” Christiansen said.

“And right now how the situation is inside the squad, I don’t want to touch anything right now and less speak about it.

“Well if that should be the possibility then we will listen to it, but it’s not a priority we have but Victor [Orta] is working on that if it’s necessary.”
