West Ham keen on signing attacker with 107-goals-in-391-appearances attacker

Walcott

West Ham are reportedly interested in signing out of favour Arsenal star Theo Walcott.

Walcott appears to be out of the first team plans at the Gunners and has been restricted to just Europa League and Cup games so far this season.

The Hammers who are clearly struggling in the Premier League are said to be interested in recruiting Walcott in order to boost their chances of survival this season.

The 28 year old will also know that he is unlikely to make the England squad for the 2018 World Cup should he remain at the Emirates Stadium and will need to consider his future elsewhere.

Since joining Arsenal from Southampton in 2006, Walcott has scored more than 100 goals for the club. He was on the England national team roster for the 2006 and 2010 World Cups.

West Ham however could face competition from Walcott’s former club the Saints.
