Everton and Liverpool to battle over 137-goals-in-208 games striking sensation in January

Aubameyang

As per IBTimes, Everton and Liverpool are keen on Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ahead of the January transfer window.

The Gabon international is said to be eyeing an exit from the Bundesliga giants next month having fallen out with a number of his teammates.

Aubameyang was linked with a summer switch to Chelsea and the Chinese Super League during the summer transfer window, but suitors failed to meet Dortmund’s deadline.

The Merseysiders are looking to bolster their squad ahead of the second half of the topflight campaign, and will both be aiming to lure the Gabon international to their sides.

Everton are still hoping to find the perfect Romelu Lukaku replacement, while Liverpool are preparing for the possible exits of Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho.

In the wantaway Aubameyang, a proven goalmachine with 137 goals in 208 games for Dortmund, the bitter city rivals would be landing themselves one of the best hitmen in the game.

Despite a gloomy campaign for the Westfalenstadion outfit both domestically and continentally, the 28-year-old has remained in fine form, bagging 17 goals in 19 appearances thus far.
