Adrian hopes to get more game time after impressing in goal during West Ham’s defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.
The Spaniard had to be selected for the game as regular first choice Joe Hart was ineligible for the game as City are his parent club. Adrian pulled off a number of saves during the second half denying Leroy Sane in particular.
“At the end of the day it is a defeat, we don’t get any points, so I cannot be happy, zero,” he told Sky Sports.
“But we troubled them, we defended well and played well on the counter attack, we had great chances to go 2-2 at the end but they are top players.”
“Personally, this is my fifth season at West Ham. I do my best every time I play. I hope I have more chances to play from now. The competition is great, so for the manager the next game we don’t know.”
The Hammers, who have been in poor form this season, managed to take a surprise lead just before the break through a goal from Angelo Ogbonna.
After Nicolas Otamendi had found an equalizer for City, David Moyes side looked headed for a surprise draw however David Silva scored in the 83rd minute to continue the Citizens strong run of form.
