Egypt national team boss Hector Cuper has claimed that Spanish giants Real Madrid wish to sign Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.
Salah moved to the Reds from Roma during the summer transfer window and has so far proven to be one of the best signings of the summer having chipped in with 17 goals from 22 appearances in all competitions for his side this season.
Many doubted whether Salah would be able to succeed in England prior to this season as he had a previous unsuccessful spell with Chelsea during which he only managed to net two times from 19 appearances.
As a result, the Reds will certainly hope that Salah stays with them for the long term. Cuper has however claimed that Madrid are interested in the player.
Via the London Evening Standard, he told ON Sport TV, “I’ve received confirmed news revealing Real Madrid’s interest in Salah, but let’s not rush things. To me, he is in an amazing position right now.”
