Manchester City boss Guardiola makes admission which will worry West Ham

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has said that his side will not rest players as they prepare to take on struggling West Ham in a Premier League encounter on Sunday.

City face a difficult next month which will include playing in 10 games.

City will be firm favourites to beat the Hammers and will be expected to do so in convincing fashion considering that they have so far been in sublime form this season while David Moyes team by contrast have been poor and look like they could be set for a relegation dogfight.

Guardiola however warned his side that they will not face an easy game by saying, “I can’t deny we’re in better form than West Ham and have better results.

“The last 12 or 13 games [in the Premier League] we won, but they didn’t win for long and they don’t get results. So we are better, we can’t deny that.

“But tomorrow we start again, and I was a player — I trust the players to be professional. They have experience there and they have a manager with experience to handle that experience.

“I can’t think it’s already done or it’ll be easy. I can’t think, it’s West Ham, we can make six or seven changes and the second team is going to play. I think it’s ridiculous.”
