Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Everton are all interested in signing Atletico Madrid forward Kevin Gameiro in the January transfer window, according to Don Balon.
Kevin Gameiro’s future with Atletico Madrid has come under serious doubt following the confirmation of Diego Costa’s return to the club and the arrival of the Spaniard in January will probably make the Frenchman the fourth choice forward at the Wanda Metropolitano.
This doubt over the future of Gameiro has alerted many clubs across Europe over the possible availability of the 30-year-old striker and he might be keen for a move away from Atletico in search of a regular first team role.
Teams representing interest from England are the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Everton FC – according to reports from Don Balon, all of whom are currently in need of a new striker to boost their attacking prowess.
Among the aforementioned clubs, Everton are believed to be the favorites as they are in most need of a new striker and would be ready to splash the cash to land Gameiro.
