Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez has spoken out about what disappointed him as his club drew 2 -2 with West Brom in a Premier League clash on Tuesday.
The Magpies looked headed for their fifth successive League defeat as they trailed the Baggies by 2 -0 at one point, however they managed to fight their way back into the game and left with a point.
Though his club showed tremendous fighting spirit to bring themselves back into the game after looking like they were going to lose, Benitez is worried as he feels that his club do not know how to take advantage of situations when his club are on top.
He said: “I was disappointed with the first-half. We were in control, we had everything more or less in our hands, and then we concede a late goal again, so I was upset with that.”
The Magpies currently sit in mid table and January will likely be a crucial month for them.
