As per the Mirror, West Ham manager David Moyes has eyes on Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter ahead of a January transfer switch.
The Scot wants more mobility and bite in his midfield, and the defensive contributions of the Republic of Ireland international have caught his attention.
However, Crystal Palace are also keen on Arter, while it would also take a juicy offer to tempt the Cherries into selling their man who only just signed a new 4-year deal in June.
West Ham’s relegation battle will be won or lost in the second half of the campaign, and quality additions to an underwhelming and underperforming squad can go a long way in helping Moyes guide the club to safety.
With over 200 appearances for Bournemouth, Arter fits the bill in terms of experience, while his 27 goals also means he can chip in goals occasionally.
Nevertheless, convincing him into joining a side fighting to survive the drop will no doubt take a lot of efforts.
