Liverpool make their stance clear on Philippe Coutinho

The agents of Philippe Coutinho have reportedly been informed that Liverpool will not consider selling him during the January transfer window.

Coutinho emerged as a priority target of Spanish giants Barcelona during the summer transfer window who went on to make three bids for him, all of which were rejected by Liverpool.

The Brazilian had hoped for the move to happen as he handed in a transfer request. Recent reports have now suggested that Barcelona are hoping to conclude a deal to bring the 25-year-old to the Camp Nou during the January transfer window.

It now has emerged that Liverpool will not be willing to sell their prized asset then.

PSG have reportedly developed an interest in signing Coutinho and his fellow Brazilians Neymar and Thiago Silva are also said to be trying to convince him to move to the French capital. This could give PSG every chance of launching a big-money bid during the summer.
