Coleen Rooney, the wife of Everton star Wayne Rooney has addressed talk about her marriage.
The 31-year-old Rooney is no stranger to controversy and one of the reasons why he has courted controversy over the years is due to his infidelities.
In September Rooney again caused controversy after being charged with drink-driving which he pleaded guilty to.
On the same day of his drink-driving charge, he was also spotted kissing a woman who was not his wife and ended up being arrested while driving her car.
After this incident, rumors began swirling suggesting that Coleen who is expecting her fourth child with Wayne may consider ending her marriage.
She wrote in a post on Facebook: “Before all the stories begin, Yes, I have put my wedding ring on.
“A lot of people will be saying ‘You don’t have to explain yourself, don’t feel like you have to do this’ etc, I know I don’t, but I am and I want to.
“It didn’t feel right wearing my ring, I see it as a sign of commitment and I was unsure what was happening. I don’t always wear my ring day to day, especially when I go the gym.
“So, if I don’t always have it on, maybe it’s just because am going the gym or haven’t put it on before the school run!!”
