Leeds United are interested in tying up youngster Jack Clarke to a long term deal with the club, according to Football Insiders.
Clarke is still only 16 but is already regarded as one of the most talented youngsters to come through the Leeds United academy.
The young attacker has scored regularly in every level he has featured in so far and these exploits have attracted attention of the coaches at Leeds United, who have given the youngster a new challenge to further continue his development.
The youngster is currently training with the senior team as part of his development plans and claims have been that it might not be long before the 16-year-old makes his debut for the Leeds United first team.
Considering that Clarke isn’t yet eligible to sign a full time contract with Leeds though, the Peacocks are constantly in the fear of losing one of their greatest prospects.
As a result of this, Leeds hierarchy is now trying their best to convince Clarke to sign a new long term deal after the youngster turns 17 next month and the youngster is believed to be poised to pen a new contract with his boyhood club.
