Leeds United reportedly keen on League Two’s 5-goals-and-8-assists sensation

According to The Coventry Telegraph, Leeds and 14 other clubs in the Premier League and Championship sent scouts to watch League 2’s clash between Coventry City and Stevenage on Tuesday night.

The Whites most likely went to watch January transfer target Jodi Jones, who reports claim is on the club’s radar.

The 20-year-old versatile wideman has been in solid form for Coventry this season, scoring 5 goals and assisting a whopping 8 in 21 appearances across all competitions.

Making the step up to the Championship or Premier League from the League Two doesn’t come easy for most players, so it’s only right for Leeds and other clubs to decide to catch a glimpse of Jones’ quality first hand.

The youngster, while a raw talent, is full of potential and lots of promise.

He’s a bag of tricks and widely regarded as one of the best whiz kids in the Football League.

Jones will definitely be a great long-term signing for Leeds, but with the likes of Arsenal and Crystal Palace keeping tabs, landing him won’t be the easiest of tasks.
