According to reports, Daniel Sturridge is hoping to leave Liverpool during the January transfer window in order to gain more playing time.
The 28 year old is currently not a first choice forward for Jurgen Klopp and has had to mainly settle for a place on the bench this season. He has so far managed four Premier League starts and scored two goals.
This will not be good for him if he wants to stand a chance of making the England squad for the 2018 World Cup.
Sturridge has around 18 months remaining on his current contract and Liverpool will likely be willing to agree to a transfer if they can secure around £10 million for his services.
Due to Sturridge’s experience at the highest level, there are likely to be many clubs that will be interested in signing him. The striker has also been linked with French giants Paris-Saint Germain in the past.
