Henderson warns opponents that Liverpool star will only get better

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has issued a warning to other teams in the Premier League and stated that more is still to come from Mohamed Salah.

Henderson said of Salah: “I just want him to keep going and to be fair he hasn’t took his foot off the gas.

“He’s kept working hard in training, scoring goals, working hard in games – it’s not just his goals, it’s his workrate as well, which helps us as a team.

“He’s been brilliant for all the season so far but he’s got to keep it going, along with other players.”

Salah joined the Reds during the summer in a club record deal from AS Roma and has been in phenomenal form.

The Egypt international has so far scored nine goals in the Premier League and is in line to challenge the likes of Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero for the League’s golden boot award this season.

Many doubted whether Salah would be able to succeed as he had a previous spell with Chelsea which was less than successful. He is however proving his doubters wrong.
