Former Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal is now the 7/2 third favorite to become new manager of Everton.
The Toffees have been without a manager for almost a month after they parted ways with Ronald Koeman following their 5-2 defeat against Arsenal. Since then David Unsworth has been in charge.
The Merseyside club have shown little progress under the U-23’s boss and have so far won just one out of their four games played under him.
The Toffees currently occupy 16th position on the League standings with 12 points from 12 games and are not safe from the relegation zone.
They reportedly made two approaches for Watford boss Marco Silva, both of which were rejected by the Hornets.
Van Gaal is now the third favorite to become Toffees manager behind Silva (11/10) and Unsworth (5/2). The Dutchman has a lot of experience under his belt having previously managed Barcelona, Holland and Bayern Munich.
