French side make Liverpool star their priority target

According to reports, French giants PSG have made Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho a priority target for this summer.

The 25-year-old Coutinho has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona and the Catalan giants made three bids for him during the summer transfer window, all of which were rejected.

Ernesto Valverde’s team are once again expected to attempt to sign the midfield maestro during the January transfer window.

French journalist Julien Maynard has now claimed though that the French giants have made Coutinho their priority target and that Thiago Silva is attempting to convince his fellow national team team-mate to join the club.

However it remains to be seen if they will succeed considering that Coutinho reportedly prefers a move to Barcelona.

In addition to this, PSG did spend heavily during the summer transfer window and need to sell players in order to comply with Fifa fair play regulations.
