Watford manager Marco Silva has refused to commit his future to the Hornets following his side’s win against West Ham on Sunday amid speculation that he could be set to become the new manager of Everton.
The Toffees have been without a manager since they parted ways with Ronald Koeman following their defeat against Arsenal last month and Silva is one of the managers that they have been targeting.
The Portuguese boss has been praised for helping the Hornets play an impressive brand of football during the early parts of this season and is regarded as a great up and coming manager.
The Hornets do not want to part ways with their manager and have already rejected an approach from Everton.
However Silva has refused to quash the links with the Toffees and said: “There has been zero distraction. We know what our work is, we did a fantastic week, the players worked really hard and today they performed really well and we deserved the three points.
“My future is tomorrow, we start to prepare the next day, we have already planned the session, that is my future. I understand the questions, some things we can’t control. I know what is in my hands and that is the session tomorrow.”
