Tottenham star Eric Dier blasted referee Mike Dean after his side lost 2-0 in the Premier League to Arsenal on Saturday.
After the game, Dier said: “There is so much on the line, for a goal to be decided in the manner it was is very disappointing. It changed the game. I don’t want to get in trouble but everyone can see it.
“If that’s a foul then soon we won’t be able to touch each other. Nobody wants that. But there can be no excuses.”
Spurs usual headline grabbers Harry Kane and Dele Alli were disappointing on the day and both were taken off with 15 minutes remaining.
Arsenal went on to take a 2-0 lead at half-time through goals from Shkodran Mustafi and Alexis Sanchez.
Mustafi went on to score the first from a free-kick though replays have shown that he was marginally offside.
Also Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka was not booked after appearing to be body checking Davinson Sanchez during the 23rd minute. Xhaka was booked nine minutes later for a rough challenge on Dele Alli.
