Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has revealed that the managerial methods of Arsene Wenger and Jurgen Klopp are very different.
Oxlade-Chamberlain ended a six year stay at the Gunners during the summer in order to link up with Liverpool.
Some believes that his departure from the Gunners may have been caused by a rift with Wenger considering that the club did not want him to leave at this point in time.
However the latest comments made by the 24-year-old indicate that he still thinks very highly of his former manager.
Whilst contrasting the managerial approaches of Wenger and Klopp, Oxlade-Chamberlain said: “Arsene [Wenger] is a great manager and he’s proved that for many years.
“His philosophy and style of play is based on the ‘Arsenal way’ of playing, with his passing game, which is brilliant and works very well for him.
“Jurgen is very demanding and he makes clear to us our roles and responsibilities, and the intensity that he wants out of us.”
