The agent of Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro has claimed that Premier League clubs Newcastle and Everton are interested in his client.
Stefano Volpi, told llBianconero, “It’s a pleasure for Stefano that he’s wanted by clubs at home and abroad. In the Premier League, for example, interest always comes from teams like Everton and Newcastle.”
It is certainly not surprising that there has been interest in Sturaro.
He has made just 31 Serie A appearances for Juventus during the past three seasons and the signings of Blaise Matuidi and Rodrigo Bentancur have caused him to slip further down the pecking order at the club.
He has also thus far featured in only three of Juventus’s League games this season and so moving away to start a new challenge at a new club may be a good option at this point.
