Leeds United’s chances of luring Liverpool striker Danny Ings may have taken a knock as West Ham United have reportedly now joined the race to sign him.
Ings has returned from injury and is currently training with the Reds U-23 side.
He currently appears to be out of manager Jurgen Klopp’s plans and is likely to seal a move away from the club during the January transfer window.
Leeds are looking to sign Ings as they look to seal a place in the top six of the Championship this season and attempt to win a place in the Premier League next season.
West Ham have however reportedly joined the race to lure Ings and playing in the Premier League is something that could appeal to him.
The Hammers could do with the addition of a proven goal scorer especially considering that they are currently struggling to perform and could end up in a relegation dogfight.
