According to reports, Liverpool have suffered a transfer blow as Emre Can looks set to be headed to Manchester City at the end of the season.
The German’s current deal at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the season and he has yet to sign a new contract which has fueled speculation that he will join a new club.
The 23-year-old Can has established himself as a key member of the Reds first team squad and the fact that it looks like he will leave the club on a free transfer will be a blow to Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Can has so far made 13 appearances in all competitions for the Reds this season, scoring one goal and contributing two assists.
The lure of playing for Pep Guardiola’s team, who look invincible at the moment, will likely be too tempting for him to turn down at the end.
